In Q3 2022, Building Tomorrow was granted $10,000 to improve access to child-friendly, community-supported schools in East Africa by providing an inclusive, quality education for underserved children. Their corps of 5,500+ locally engaged lay leaders (CEVs), delivered Roots to Rise (R2R) educational literacy and numeracy programming to more than 13,500 learners. They plan to recruit 2,000 more CEVs to ensure that programs are community-led and driven.
